So before we start, yes I’m aware it’s been A WHILE… BUT… I have some things to say…
I’ve done a lot of soul searching recently with regards to my wrestling fandom. AEW has an amazing PPV with All in Texas, meanwhile at WWE SummerSlam, they brought back Brock Lesnar, and those of you who read my blog I wrote in the immediate aftermath, will be well aware of my feelings on that.
In the time since, I have been and had a great time at WWE Raw in Birmingham, I’ve tried to get back in to AEW and… it’s just not grabbed me to be honest, NXT I still love, Progress put the title on Dereiss and I’m going to bloodsport at the end of September (which I cannot wait for)… The Brock Lesnar thing from WWE really upset me, and made me not want to promote WWE in anyway, and I felt like I couldn’t have fun with this series anymore, and so I’ve not made my SummerSlam blog almost two months after I actually played out the show. But I also don’t want other people to take away my fun, and that’s what it’s all about, FUN!
So… whilst listening to the WWE Cody podcast with Bruce Prichard as his guest, I just got this feeling that I wanted to book again. I wanted to resume this series, so… here we are… I’m still furious at WWE for their disgusting decision to bring back Brock Lesnar, but I’ll be doing this series as I had previously from now onwards, and I’ll finish it and have FUN! So… let’s get on with it…
