So before we get underway with the build to the final stop on our long road to WRESTLEMANIA, I have some housekeeping to address…
Firstly, I have now moved my web address from .com to .co.uk, you can still find all my stuff at NobodyIsReady , but just make sure you go to the .co.uk and NOT .com anymore.
Secondly… I have had a thought about my lack of General Managers in my Universe Mode booking. I quite like the roles played by Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis on the current day WWE TV, I think both play their roles tremendously well, but to be honest, I just don’t see a need to book them in my world, basically because in my world, the authority… is ME! Maybe given that both of them are playable characters in the next game, maybe I will have them both play active roles in my WWE 2K26 Universe… we shall see…
And finally, you may have noticed that I have removed those from my WWE Universe that have left WWE in real life. My reason for this is two-fold really, firstly with my change of plan that I would do my 2K26 mode as a follow up season to my 2K25 season, I didn’t see much sense in making big characters of people that aren’t going to be in the next game, so the likes of Dakota Kai and Karrion Kross have sadly had to be written out. Which brings me onto my current example of this, with someone I absolutely love, but of course he just left WWE to join All Elite Wrestling, so you have seen the last of one Tommaso Ciampa in my WWE Universe. I had an idea of doing an exit storyline for him, but with his move directly to AEW, I decided against it. I guess you could say it’s… best for business…
ANYWAY… Here is my WWE Universe from February Week 1 (following the Royal Rumble PLE) going up to after the Elimination Chamber PLE on the Saturday of Week 2 in March! (and because I REALLY wanna get to my Mania ASAP, I have now limited my recaps to 5 bullet points per TV show, and I have just booked the full shows for my own entertainment to be honest… and lets be fair. you only REALLY care about the PLEs anyway!)…
Raw – February Week 1

- ‘The Kabuki Warriors’ beat Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley (after Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez distract them) to advance to the Women’s tag titles contender’s match against Becky & Lyra
- CM Punk and Gunther have an INTENSE back and forth promo in the ring, it concludes with Punk challenging Gunther, but Gunther just… walks away…
SmackDown – February Week 1
- Bianca Belair in-ring promo, B-Fab & Jade Cargill both come out after, but even after Bianca eliminated them both in the Royal Rumble, they are still friends and have respect for one another. Charlotte Flair comes out after and she doesn’t buy the mutual respect between the three of them. This leads to the start of the qualifying matches to get into the number one contenders match, to then face Charlotte for the title, with the champion to then defend against Belair at WrestleMania.
- Backstage, after he loses to Ethan Page, Sami Zayn is comforted by The Usos. After they leave to go and catch up with ‘The Tribal Chief’, Aleister Black talks to Sami…
- Roman Reigns comes out to the ring, but before he can talk, SETH ROLLINS attacks him!
- After appearing very down backstage earlier in the night, but being determined to ‘make things right’, Johnny Gargano (with Candice LeRae) loses to Carmelo Hayes in a United States title match
- THE ROCK comes out to the ring to close the show, but before he can talk, WWE Champion Cody Rhodes storms to the ring. He grabs a mic and then says the following:
“
You know Rock… a year ago, you almost took my dream away from me, and I was almost stupid enough to let you.
You came back in here and told the world you wanted “the head of the table”, and within a few days, you had made me think that it was YOUR time. That it was YOU who belonged in the main event of WrestleMania 40, up against the longest reigning champion of the modern era. Rock you told me that YOU were the man to take THIS (points to WWE title) away from The Tribal Chief, and that it was time to finish YOUR story, and it was not time for me to finish mine…
Well Rock, here we are. A year on from then, and fortunately for me, fortunately for the people, fortunately for this company, it was ME who went to the main event of night two of WrestleMania 40 to face Roman Reigns for THIS championship, it was ME who the likes of Jey Uso, and John Cena, and Seth Rollins, and THE UNDERTAKER put their body’s on the line for, and it was ME who BEAT Roman Reigns, to win the WWE Championship, and it was ME WHO DID IT ALL FOR THEM, FOR MY FAMILY, FOR MY FRIENDS AND FOR MYSELF, AND IT WAS ME WHO WALKED OUT OF WRESTLEMANIA 40 AS YOUR WWE CHAMPION!
Since then, I have faced some of the best in the world, and I have given my ALL for this Championship and for THEM (points to the crowd), and I have beaten EVERYBODY who has come for what I have. But the thing is Rock, I respect each and every single one of my opponents, they all fought valiantly. But at WrestleMania this year Rock, when I face you, for this WWE Championship, when I fight for THEM, when I fight for EVERYBODY that I hold dear in my heart, I will be doing so against a man I once loved as somewhat of an idol to me Rock, an Icon of this business and a superstar on the big screen, but to me, you are just someone that I have to beat.
And I know, you pinned me. Night 1 of WrestleMania last year, you pinned me Rock. And that ate away at me for that whole night after, and it still does even now. But through all of that, I STILL won the WWE Championship, and I have kept that with me all the way to right now. And at WrestleMania, I will walk IN WWE Champion and I will walk OUT as the WWE Champion. And I will prove to you Rock, you’re the final boss only in your own world. That “People’s Championship” you carry around with you, that’s not a title you can honestly say you rightfully have. With all the respect in the world to the great Muhammad Ali and his widow, that “belt” is just as much a phony and a FAKE as you are!
So at WrestleMania, I will take that from you, and I will give it to THEM (points to the crowd), because YOU don’t decide what goes on in this game Rock, THEY do! And if I have to beat you within an inch of your life, if I have to double or even TRIPLE what you did to me last year, I will do so and I won’t even break a sweat thinking about it.
At WrestleMania, I will beat you Rock, 1,2,3.

And so it was set, a tag team match, for BOTH the Women’s Tag Titles, AND a spot in the women’s chamber for BOTH of the winners. And so we open with the WOMEN’S Chamber match, for the right to challenge Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship at WRESTLEMANIA!
Alexa Bliss defeated Roxanne Perez & Nikki Cross & Asuka & Stephanie Vaquer & Lyra Valkyria in an Elimination Chamber match to become number one contender to the Women’s World Championship
Well… I guess her plan worked out, if not THE plan… Alexa turns on Nikki Cross, and turns her back on the Wyatt Sicks, all to get her title match at WrestleMania!

And as Bliss is revelling in her devious win, to the delight of the adoring Aussie crowd, out comes RHEA RIPLEY! And she then soaks in the crowd before going face to face with her WrestleMania opponent!

Carmelo Hayes (C) (with Kevin Owens & Randy Orton) defeated Solo Sikoa (with Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa) to retain the United States Championship
In a back and forth match, with a natural amount of chaos ringside between the two warring sides, Hayes managed to make his way through all of the outside noise, and retain his United States Championship!

Next we have our number one contender’s match between Gunther and CM Punk, with the winner to go on to face Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania for the World Heavyweight title!
And a great match… is ruined… by DREW MCINTYRE! As Punk hits a big elbow drop and signals for the GTS, McIntyre enters the ring and hits a big Claymore Kick to his mortal enemy! Oh and he doesn’t leave Gunther out, as he goes ringside and retries his world title belt, glomping The Ring General with the belt, leaving us with no winner, and no decided contender to face The Scottish Warrior at WrestleMania…

Charlotte Flair (C) defeated Tiffany Stratton to retain the WWE Women’s Championship
A solid effort by the challenger, but in the end… once again… Charlotte Flair heads to a Championship match at a WrestleMania!

And finally it is time for our main event. 6 men vying for the richest prize in the game, and an appointment with The Final Boss!
Cody Rhodes (C) defeated Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins & Sami Zayn & LA Knight & Logan Paul in an Elimination Chamber match to retain the WWE Championship

Cody Rhodes. The Rock. WWE Championship. Main Event of WRESTLEMANIA!

Josh.
