WWE 2K25 Universe Mode – WRESTLEMANIA

So we have FINALLY made it! The ROAD to WrestleMania is complete, and now it is time for the SHOWCASE OF THE IMMORTALS! It has been quite the build to get here, from John Cena winning number 17 to THE ROCK actually coming to work, I think creative wise it has been my favourite Universe Mode I have ever done. And it has made my decision to expand this story from WWE 2K25 into a second year in WWE 2K26 an even more valid one. And I think it reflects what makes WWE what it is, in that the story never ends! So as much as this is the end of this series, it will set up everything as I move into WWE 2K26 Universe Mode, and that blog series will be coming soon (albeit I will need some time to actually play the game first, and a bit of a mental break too, but soon I assure you…).

So lets get to it then, Night 1 AND Night 2 of my WWE 2K25 Universe Mode WRESTLEMANIA!

WrestleMania – Las Vegas

NIGHT 1

We begin WrestleMania with our Women’s Royal Rumble winner getting her long awaited title shot. It has been quite the up and down road for Bianca Belair in my WWE 2K25 Universe, from a heel turn to losing friends, to repenting and getting them back, to eliminating those friends on the way to winning the Royal Rumble, gaining the love and respect all back, and now she had her moment once more on the grandest stage of them all.

Charlotte Flair once again comes into WrestleMania as a champion, and now has the honour of OPENING a WrestleMania!

Bianca Belair defeated Charlotte Flair (C) to win the WWE Women’s Championship

After an emotional rollercoaster of a WWE 2K25 Universe Mode, The EST will go into my WWE 2K26 Universe as CHAMPION!

Next up we have what promises to be CARNAGE!

Wyatt Sicks (Uncle Howdy & Erick Rowan & Dexter Lumis & Joe Gacy) defeated The Usos (Jimmy & Jey), Solo Sikoa & Tama Tonga in an Extreme Rules match

Even the combined forces of The Usos and The MFTs wasn’t enough to keep down the monstrous forces of the Wyatt Sicks!

Next we have a match between quite simply, two of the best women’s wrestlers (or of any gender for that matter) on the planet, renewing their rivalry on the biggest of stages!

La Primera has come close on a few occasions during my WWE 2K25 Universe Mode to winning championship gold, can tonight be the time she finally wins the big one?

But her opponent has been truly the Beautiful Madness since arriving in my WWE Universe, immediately winning the Women’s US title, and going on an absolute TEAR afterwards ever since! Will her run continue tonight in her toughest US Title defence yet?

Giulia (C) defeated Stephanie Vaquer to retain the Women’s United States Championship

An epic fight worthy of the two outstanding competitors, but in the end, the reign of Giulia continues!

Next we have our WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens & Randy Orton, having beaten all before them, putting their titles on the line in an Open Challenge… but who would answer the call? One of the all time great tag teams on the planet that is who…

The Lucha Bros (Penta & Rey Fenix) defeated Kevin Owens & Randy Orton (C) to win the WWE Tag Team Championship

With Fenix in the next game, I felt obliged to put The Lucha Bros back together, and hence I went about having Penta fall on hard times and disappear in my WWE 2K25 Universe, with the end goal being a return on the biggest stage of them all, and his brother back by his side, as they take over the world once more as a tag team, and now my NEW WWE Tag Team Champions!

Next up, someone else who has had an up and down time of things recently in my WWE Universe, but now is back on the WrestleMania stage, with championship gold on the line!

But her challenge, none other than maybe THE best wrestler on the planet!

Becky Lynch defeated Iyo Sky (C) to win the Women’s Intercontinental Championship

And she turned heel to do it!!! Becky Lynch goes against everything she once stood for in order to get her hands on the Women’s IC Title!

And from one Ireland native fighting for an IC Title, to another… only this one, in order to FINALLY complete the career grand slam, has had to put his CAREER on the line!

But of course, Sheamus is up against a FREAK of an opponent!!!

Sheamus defeated Bron Breakker (C) to win the Intercontinental Championship in a Title vs Career match

Sheamus finally does it! But don’t worry… Bron will be just fine, trust me on that…

And finally, it is time for my NIGHT ONE main event! And a chance for not only CM Punk to claim WWE gold once again, but he FINALLY accomplishes a life long dream, of becoming a WrestleMania MAIN EVENTER!

Standing in his way though, is a destroyer…

And a Scottish WARRIOR!

CM Punk defeated Drew McIntyre (C) & Gunther in a triple threat match to win the World Heavyweight Championship

The Best In The World, and now WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!

NIGHT 2

We kick off night 2 with a HUGE meeting of seemingly eternal rivals!

Seth Rollins defeated Roman Reigns in a Hell In A Cell match

Long story short, Paul Heyman enters the cell, and he goes to help Roman, before TURNING ON HIM! Before The Tribal Chief can take out his anger at his former wiseman, Bron Breakker AND Bronson Reed AND Logan Paul AND Austin Theory ALL enter the cell, beat down Reigns, and THE VISION help Seth Rollins get the win!

Next we have our United States Champion Ethan Page with his open challenge match, and to the delight of the crowd, out to answer it comes…

JOE HENDRY defeated Ethan Page (C) to win the United States Championship

WE BELIEVE in our NEW UNITED STATES CHAMPION!

Next, a bit of history for you, as the TNA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP is defended at WWE WRESTLEMANIA!

Abyss defeated AJ Styles (C) to win the TNA World Championship

The MONSTER reigns over TNA once more, but what does this mean now for The Phenomenal One going into WWE 2K26 Universe Mode?…

Next we have a pretty wild WWE Women’s Tag Title match!

Nia Jax & Lash Legend defeated Bayley & Lyra Valkyria and Asuka & Kairi Sane and Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez (C) in a fatal 4 way tag team match to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship

I see these two incredible powerhouses as a MONEY women’s Tag Team, so I felt going into WWE 2K26, they were the right team to carry the gold!

Next up, we go from the Women’s Tag Titles, to the World tag titles on the men’s side…

Their first match on the main roster in my WWE Universe, and they could begin life right at the top, with the tag titles at WRESTLEMANIA!

But in order to get the job done, they must beat one of the all-time great tag teams in WWE history!

Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer & Axiom) defeated The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) (C) to win the World Tag Team Championship

And what a dream start to their run in my WWE Universe as FRAXIOM become the NEW World Tag Team Champions!

Next up we have a pair of serial WrestleMania title match competitors, and two of the most popular women in WWE!

The challenger has deceived and manipulated Nikki Cross and the Wyatt Sicks in order to find her way in this spot, but now can she go all the way and take home the Women’s World Championship?

But her opponent is none other than THE champion and THE superstar in WWE!

Rhea Ripley (C) defeated Alexa Bliss to retain the Women’s World Championship

I couldn’t think of anyone better to be my champion going into WWE 2K26 than RHEA BLOODY RIPLEY!

And now, it is time for the main event. EVERYTHING has been leading up to this, the future of my WWE universe rests upon this one match…

The Final Boss. The People’s Champion (so he says). The winner of the Royal Rumble. Could by the end of this match, also call himself the NEW WWE Champion?

But he is up against the white knight of WWE. A man who has seemingly had the shadow of The Rock overlooking him for the whole of my WWE 2K25 Universe Mode. And now he defends both the title and the whole of WWE!
